“True to Words”
The first ABM general assembly back on September 2 was truly enjoyable. We had the chance to get to know our strandmates from both Grade 11 and 12 during a virtual set up. The band performance during the intermission was really great, and it's probably my favorite part of the assembly, although the dance performance was just as immense. Everything was so fun that the assembly felt so brief! Especially when it came to the games. I was so glad to see a lot of my classmates participating. I think the game everyone enjoyed the most was "The Price is Right". It really garnered the most response, and it's my personal favorite too. There could be improvements, but everything about the assembly was already great. Our hosts were also very interactive and entertaining. It definitely stood true to its words, as it was an AIMazing show indeed.

“Carry the Banner”
The general assembly hosted by AIM was truly a milestone not just for the club, but for the whole ABM strand. It served as a link as to how other ABM students are carrying the banner of ABM; a strand that has been labeled as the outgoing, free-spirited strand. It has now effectively established itself as a strand that has a huge and fearsome potential beyond the walls of any institution. The outside world is truly the playing field of the ABM spirit.
All the games were very interactive to everyone yet very light to encourage some of the students who are naturally shy to participate. The games were also informative that you can still pick up a thing or two just by watching other students participate and have fun.
The most enjoyable part of the assembly is the idea that all ABM students are coming together with a significant show of force that greatly boosts the sense of belongingness for each individual.
The hosts were able to represent what goes on in the heads of most of the ABM students that made them all so relatable. Full of insights and unexpected angles of perspectives as every ABM student should have. They were able to present what an ABM student should be in a very subtle and effective manner.
ALL segments should be retained and further developed simply because all of it displayed the ABM spirit.

“Looking Forward to the Future”
The first ABM assembly got off to a wonderful start with the theme "The Amazing Showman." The officers and hosts were upbeat and lively. AIM had organized interesting activities like games such as “Odd Man Out” and “The Price is Right”, which most participants and spectators found enjoyable and thrilling. The intermissions provided at the meeting were both outstanding, and received positive feedback from officers and goal members alike. I genuinely look forward to future assemblies, projects, and activities for the ABM strand that are to come.

“From Our Own Perspective: Hosts”
The assembly gave me so much serotonin. The game “Price is Right” was a very interactive game. It was really nice to see how there was a fun and friendly competition. Seeing how these business-minded students were able to somehow answer the items accurately was a worthwhile experience. The intermission of the band Petrichor from Batch 2023 had so much hype. Showcasing the talents of each and every one of them was very inspiring. It also goes to show that even if school and organization work come our way, we still see to it that our passion for something still comes alive. The games were definitely the most enjoyable part of the assembly. I felt so much energy as the representatives were able to give pride to their sections. I, as a host, was also able to witness their camaraderie and cooperation throughout the event. As for me, the whole general assembly was definitely the highlight of my day. It was really nice to have quite the energetic mood that was set even at the start of the event. Having to know the strand members’ capabilities was very exciting. As I am graduating already, it was an honor to be the host of the first general assembly of my senior year with Pauline Pagkalinawan, who I actually vibed with really well. Something to be improved in the future assemblies would be how evident and important the Augustinian Innovative Managers strand club is. Promoting this to our fellow strandmates is very important for the succession plan as well.

I can confirm that many students joined the games during the general assembly, and one of the games that had a lot of student participation was “Odd One Out”. The students quickly identified what set a certain logo apart from the others. They appeared to enjoy the activities and to be very competitive with one another. Since most of the cameras were off, it was impossible to tell if they even enjoyed the performances. But from the students with cameras that were on, I could see that they were enjoying the dancing performance as much as the Petrichor song cover. Being with the whole ABM strand and spending time and making memories with them was perhaps the most enjoyable part of the event. The program was well written by the AIM Executive Board and the different department heads worked really hard for this, which makes it even more memorable. Despite having little time to prepare, I still enjoyed hosting the general assembly with my partner, Karmina Madrid. Without her, I would probably be super nervous and might have backed out. The general assembly was my first time ever showing a side of me to the whole ABM strand that my friends and family only knew, which was also my favorite part of the whole event. I am delighted to co-host this event with her, and I hope to collaborate on future projects with AIM. During the recruitment of members for each department, there are only a few Grade 11 students who are interested. I hope that AIM can encourage more students from their batch since they will be the ones who will manage AIM after the batch of 2023 graduates. This is so that the hard work of our amazing Executive Board will not go to waste.
